Bloxham School is an independent, co-educational boarding and day school for boys and girls aged 11 to 18 situated in north Oxfordshire. Boarding and Pastoral Care for students:
Bloxham is a small group and forms an inclusive and caring community. ‘House’ is the heart of its pastoral care, students are assigned to a house and a tutor, who is responsible for their development. The school offers flexible options for boarding and day, including full, weekly and occasional boarding.
Lower and Senior School students live in separate houses that are all beautiful and homely. There is also a house catering for Day students, providing study rooms, lockers, changing rooms and common area.
Extracurricular Activities:
Bloxham offers an extensive range of activities, societies and clubs. Students are encouraged to experience as many activities as they can. First of all, students can extend their learning outside of the classroom by joining the academic enrichment activities. Secondly, all Lower Sixth students have to participate in the Community Service Programme, ranging from helping primary school children with literacy, to assisting with local food banks. Thirdly, students can take part in various clubs at Bloxham.
As for Sixth Form students, they are prepared with over 70 activities, ranging from music to sports, and art to clay pigeon shooting. Sixth Formers are expected to lead and coach in each activity, as well as learn new skills themselves
