The Gordonstoun School, a boarding school located on the northern coast of Scotland, covers an area of ??380 acres, and the supervisor is Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh. The students are mainly from Scotland and England. International students account for about 30% of the total number. They come from 40 different countries. Most of the students are boarding at the school. The school arranges to pick up and drop off international students at two airports, Aberdeen and Inverness. The school’s middle school offers courses from S3 to S7. There are 450 students in the school, and 90% are boarders
Academic Success:
Gordonstoun School treats students equally and believes that each classmate has its own unique characteristics. Therefore, it hopes to cultivate world-class leaders through education and encourage them to do research and internship outside the classroom. It is expected that students will strive to create and discover knowledge. The students performed well in public examinations. The overall pass rate for the 2019 college entrance examination was 98.6%, and 28% achieved A*-B.
University Destination:
Most students advanced to the top 20 universities in the UK, including Bath, Bristol and Edinburgh.

Modern schooling at Gordonstoun is not an academic education with an added ‘extras’ curriculum, but is rather a full curriculum promoting academic ambition and an inspiring outdoor education programme. It may surprise you to know that the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award was based on Gordonstoun’s model of outdoor education.
At Gordonstoun you learn that on the hill when your team are not in agreement about the right way to go; you learn that on the seas working with your crew to put the sail up and make the dinner; and you learn that laying water pipes in a Thai jungle.
