School Profile:
Located in the estuary area of East England, Royal Hospital School covers an area of 200 acres and is known as "The Cradle of the Navy". The predecessor of the school was a boys' school, which has been converted into a co-educational school since 1991. School discipline is strict, and students must take nautical training courses, and even wear navy clothing provided by the school on formal occasions. The international students in the school come from more than 20 different countries in the world and are the largest boarding school in the East Anglia district. The school has complete equipment and affordable tuition. There are currently about 700 students, and about 70% are boarding students.
Academic Success:
Royal Hospital School provides courses other than Secondary One to Secondary Seven. In order to improve the English level of international students, all international students are scheduled to take English tutoring classes.
University Destination:
In 2019, students achieved satisfactory results in public examinations, and 39% obtained A*/A in the exam. 97% of students continue to go to university, 57% get A*-B in the college entrance examination, and half of the students are accepted by Russell Group member universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, Bristol, Durham and Edinburgh.
Boarding and Pastoral Care for students:
Equipped with six dormitory rooms and Wifi network coverage. Secondary 5 or 6 students have the opportunity to be allocated a single room, and the wardens and tutors take care of the students' daily life and studies
